Ka‘imi Corner
D I R E C T I O N S

You are at the upper end of the gulch that cuts across the north side of the park. From here, the far side of the gulch and the North End Loop Trail can be reached by proceeding north. The trails on this the south side of the gulch are accessed by going east (Middle North Side Trail; see the COMPASS DIAGRAM below). The park Entrance/Exit (parking lot) is to the south. A few meters south from here is the start of the Upper North Side Trail which goes to the far east end of the ridge.

We call this place "Ka‘imi Corner" because docent Kai‘mi Scudder is most active at working/planting in this part of Nā Pōhaku o Hauwahine.

To identify the plants right around you, see the green PLANT TABLE at the bottom of the page. Plant names are arranged in clockwise order in relation to the trails.

Face north when using this compass diagram.
